Hush now...

Doh, writing this before I traipse off to work. Now you all know I'm not a massive fan of working on Saturdays but today is worse... today is much worse...

It's our Open Day...

This was the bright idea of somebody up the chain and it's now happened for three years... and it's always a Saturday during the football season so I have to work it :**: plus, memo to managers, if you're going to make large amounts of people stand outdoors isn't Summer a better bet than the first week of Spring?

So for a bunch of hours today I've gotta try and work with the punters staring over my shoulder, asking questions and hopefully not pressing buttons...

Oh well, if any of them ask I'll say blog is a scripting tool for our news...

I HATE open days. Families walking around watching you teach only to leave saying "I never understood Maffs when I was at school"

  I don't mind showing people the studio desk or the phone-in system, if it was a day I wasn't working I'd probably volunteer, it's just trying to work properly while doing it!

It was such a beautiful day yesterday so I hope all went well for you in the end!! It was lovely and warm here, a little windy but I still had my shades on!!!! XxX
