We deserved to win for sure but it was hardly a sterling performance! I still think it was Lennon he added width and some seriously needed speed to the game.
Loved Steve's goal and cheered myself hoarse. Actually I screamed YES so loudly that I made one of the kids cry cos I hurt his ears roflmao-

I really agree, it was Lennon that turned things around, he is real top quality! Too bad he plays in the same position as Sven's favourite.
I think I did much the same, poor Shaka, so many goals from Stevie past him in the last month

I was happy with how Spurs did this season and to be hinest I think we have more chance of realistically winning UEFA than Champions league and lets face it Spurs need to win something to build up the confidence of a young tean who are looking pretty good
I was disappointed Arsenal lost the Final in the Champions League too.-

I've got a Spurs supporting friend at uni who cocooned himself in his office for about a week following Arsenal finishing 4th.
My boyfriend said exactly what you did about the UEFA Cup. Getting annihilated in the Champions' League is pointless when you could have a good run in UEFA Cup instead. -

hmm yes. I believe there is someone called 'Scotland' or 'Scottish' or something in the Trinidad & Tobago team. Aparently I'm ment to suppot them now because of that now (I'm Scottish you know)
Well screw that! I'm fed up supporting loosing sides. Still England were lucky not to end up with 0-0 there. Hope we see better next time

was a very nervy game to watch. Luckily I was in the hairdressers (badly timed appointment) and so missed most of it, but thought England had lost as I walked to the bus stop to hear cheers from the pub (I live in Scotland obviously) but it was just for the (disallowed) one for T&T, followed quickly by groans of disappointment. Was happy once I found out the outcome though.
