Wednesday Singalong

To the tune of Yesterday by the Beatles:

Yesterday,
All those backups seemed a waste of pay.
Now my database has gone away.
Oh I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly,
There's not half the files there used to be,
And there's a milestone hanging over me
The system crashed so suddenly.

I pushed something wrong
What it was I could not say.

Now all my data's gone
and I long for yesterday-ay-ay-ay.

Yesterday,
The need for back-ups seemed so far away.
I knew my data was all here to stay,
Now I believe in yesterday.

PS, thank you to cartlionel and rockchick for their concern... I'm afraid to say I only put it up because I thought it was funny, not for any actual experience...

        awww. My sister put stuff on her ipod yesterday with my pc and since then, my non-ipod thing won't connect properly either. Told you they were rubbish

I'm sure you'll find your stuff - it has to be on the hard drive somewhere.

I'm sure someone in the BBC (you?) will be able to access the hard drive.

LOL, I have parodied previous yesterday parodies in my time, i think my friends and I have about 3 going - one about the close season, one about Man United, and one about Arsenal going out of the FA Cup to Man U in 2004!
