Better get this first post out the way!

If you've read my profile, feel free to skip ahead, don't worry, I wont tell the others any secrets...

The basis of this blog is simple, to share with others my thoughts, musings and... well, and probably rants!

To anyone I insult, annoy or grievously wound, I can but apologise, please keep any flaming to a minimum.

As you can see, that was written two years ago today, when I first darkened the doorstep of this blogsite and began what has been an up and down journey on the web and in my head.

Funny how things have changed over the last two years, I started out, as many of you know, simply wanting to write down my thoughts about sports, I think part of me even wondered if it could be a step into sports journalism... although now my life has gone off in a totally different direction...

Over the way I seem to have picked up friends, found new hobbies (I've been almost obsessively putting photos on Flickr and as for Photoshopping things...) maybe even found myself a bit.

I'm still not as open as others, much of my life is there for all to see, some I prefer to keep to myself either though some feelings of privacy for myself or others and maybe even a misguided sense of... Gentlemanliness at times.

But I'll tell you one thing, I've started to believe people actually might give a toss about me and what I think, what I write. I spent so long being told I was insignificant and nobody cares about me... it takes time to turn that sort of thing around.

So, two years down...

I can't promise I'm going to change much, I'm not going to be one of those people who hangs their whole life out on here, I also can't promise it'll be all sunshine and bubbles, only this week I've had a shit week and actually had trouble resisting the urge to rant, having this place as a venting area is highly cathartic.

But, despite that, if y'all feel like sticking around I reckon there's 12 more months coming up containing randomness, ranting and reliable old crap.

And thus ends some of the reliable old crap...

(Btw: Not sure I'm going to be able to catch up on everything, you may need to update me on anything vital.)
