Ever had one of those weird little collections of circumstances that seem totally unlikely?
I randomly decided to try and get the sunset over the village church today, checked the sunset times online and picked a time to go down. As I was about to leave I suddenly thought "ooh, where did I leave my business cards?", tracked them down, and for the hell of it stuck em in my camera bag. Took a few photos on the way down, delaying me a tad.
As I arrived at the church a woman I recognised was coming out, she used to get the same train and buses as me when I worked for the Beeb and we used to chat a bit because she was a listener.
Cue "Oh, how are you? How are the photos?" etc type chat an after a random sunrise comment on the train line she ended up taking one of my business cards and might even want some prints!
So...
I picked the right day randomly... (she was coming over to visit some graves)
I picked the right location randomly...
I picked the right time randomly, 2 mins later I would have missed her...
I picked up my business cards randomly...
The convo turned to sunrises on the trains randomly...
...and it all worked out to at the very least get someone else knowing about me and might share me around
